Having the shiurim as podcasts is great for a few reasons.
Firstly, the shiurim are all in one place and easily accessible. You can also be notified whenever a new ‘episode’ in the category of shiurim is added. ie, if you are subscribed to the Middat Hayom podcast feed, you will receive a notification on your device whenever a new shiur is added, or if you are subscribed to the current mesechet’s daf yomi podcast, you will receive a notification whenever the latest daf is added.
The app also provides many different settings for listening (like listening at higher speeds…). The shiurim can now be easily downloaded in the app and you can listen whenever you want wherever you are – even offline.
